Gilbert had just walked out of the store, casually holding a pizza box in both hands that contained a few slices inside. But it wasn't two seconds that passed after he had opened the door to the store and walked outside that something heavy had fallen into his arms. He had been so surprised by the sudden occurrence that his balance had been lost and he had fallen backwards. He was confused on what had happened throughout the past couple of minutes until he looked up and saw you directly staring at him. And it wasn't until you had ran away after kicking him brutally in the stomach that he realized what had actually happened.

You lay on the couch, staring at the ceiling.
'Fucking period cramps' you think to yourself as you turn on your side, facing the back of the couch. 
Yup, it was that time of the month again. Those five to seven days of bleeding, cramps, mood swings, and hunger. You had to cancel your plans with your best friend, Karkat, due to your awful cramps and before you signed off of pesterchum, telling him you couldn't spend the day watching his Romcoms, he stated he was coming over to your house to watch them and when you tried reasoning with him, he wouldn't answer.
So now you are laying there, in pain, waiting for him to arrive.
You hear a knock at the door, and still you lay there, not wanting to move. Several over knocks follow, then finally, someone unlocks the door. Only Karkat knew where the spare key was, so you instantly know it's him.

Uprooted Epilogue

Many years since then, he and I have met up on several occasions, often competing together in kart and baseball games, but each time, I'm happy that I'm able to see him again. We've told each other countless times of the battles we've had with those humans, more importantly the Mario Bros. and how they carelessly destroy our minions and homes. I guess I'm grateful most of all that I'm able to sympathize with somebody who feels the same way about those guys as I do. As much as we fail to stand up to them, though, we vowed that we'd pick ourselves up and beat them again next time.
And where is he now, you might ask? That's beyond me. For all I know, he could be either fighting for his brothers on the other side of the world or even feasting himself over watermelons and apples and whatever he can find.

One thing's for sure though- No matter how many years pass by, I don't think I'll ever have as close a buddy as Petey Piranha.

...And with that, my story comes to an end. Kind of lengthy, I know, but hey. What are ya gonna do?

And with that, our epic tale comes to a conclusion regarding the bonding friendship between the ghoulish king of mischief and the monstrous mutation of a plant. I hope you all have had a great time reading what you've seen and I hope that, with your support, I can make another fanfic sometime soon!

I like the mario games and this story is a nice headspin on how the story of some characters could have been before the actuall well-known series.

The overall story is sweet, and kinda fits in the whole mario style of stories because it has a happy ending and a logical story curve. I would have liked some further explenations on how the boo's actually scare though.

For the whole story i'd like to see some semi-kiddy cartoon (because it fits the goofyness of Petey i think) drawings showing these kind of things to make it more appealing and more funny, because they look more funny then scary most of the time.

The story as a whole is, although maybe a tad long, nice and it would be cool to read the old story of other characters aswell!
